I wrapped this beautiful Madagascar garnet in sterling silver, and it has such a rich, warm glow that shifts between deep orange and burnished amber depending on the light.
 
This garnet was carefully set in a hand-wrapped sterling silver design that follows the curve of the stone, highlighting its shape without overpowering its color. The setting is simple but secure, letting the gemstone be the true focal point while still adding a touch of artisan detail.
 
Madagascar is known for producing some incredibly unique garnets, and this variety stands out for its fiery orange tones—less common than the traditional deep reds most people think of when they hear “garnet.” That golden-orange color makes it especially striking in natural light. I don’t often get garnets of such high quality in this color.
