The stone carries a rich lavender-to-plum tone, it’s one of those colors that feels elegant.

Purple jade from Turkey is a less common variety of jadeite/nephrite material found in select regions, and it’s especially valued for its unusual violet hues. Most people think of jade as green, so seeing it in these soft purple tones always feels a little unexpected and special.

I wrapped this piece entirely by hand in sterling silver, shaping the wire to gently frame the stone while keeping the focus on its natural color. I added a small sterling silver bead accent for a subtle highlight.

Fun fact: Jade has been treasured for thousands of years across many cultures, often symbolizing protection, harmony, and balance. While green jade is the most famous, purple jade is considered rarer and is often especially prized for its calming, almost meditative color.

A one-of-a-kind pendant that feels soft, grounded, and quietly striking—handcrafted in sterling silver with a little extra silver detail to bring it all together.
